IFAA Regional is an extension of IFAA Art Platform taking place between the official IFAA main events. The IFAA Regional program was created for partners interested in collaborating with IFAA – outside the IFAA calendar year. The IFAA Regional projects and activities are mainly tailored to suit and answer the challenges faced by the partners of the IFAA Regional projects.
Partners and major projects that have benefited from IFAA Regional partnerships include: Stichting WHAA and Oase festival.
The 3 year partnership of IFAA – WHAA Foundation and Oase Festival included the financing and co- producing of the Oase Festival in order to strengthen the festival’s vision through the introduction of the IFAA Visual Arts program and IfaaContemporary.
The IFAA program for the Oase included: Design, Exhibitions, Artist in residency, Debates, Public Space Projects, the IFAA Art Outreach Program, Green is Cool and within Literature; Poetry, Storytelling and Spoken word.
